English Spelling

If someone wants to learn a foreign language he will meet with all kinds of learning problem. These difficulties have to do with the learning of the new sound system. That a foreign language student will meet these difficulties in learning process may be understood. because since childhood he has been speaking his mother tongue, which has been implanted in him as part of his habits.
Besides, I often find about the mistake of English spelling. When you speak English obviously you need a dictionary a good grammar and a nice articulation either. Therefore, why is English spelling is frightening? because English  always has used words from many different other languages style.  when you learn English you will find the pronunciation of a word often bears no a likeness  to the way it is spell it, England words  have phonetic symbol so that, one word could be spell and pronounce in different manner. The good thing is English words have irregular pronunciation. English also has more than a thousand different ways to spell them, more than any other languages.

How to Improve Your Spelling.

  1. You always use a notebook of words you find difficult to spell. Underline the part of the word that you find the most difficult thing.
  2. keep on bring and open a dictionary, not a spell-checker! OK use a spell-checker, but don't rely on it. the most common misspell words I have seen on the net are there and their.
  3. Learn the pattern, but don't rely on them. As I mentioned on above, for every pattern there is at least one exception.
You may be confused by some differences in spelling that are actually caused by the differences between American and British language style. It's not that one is good or the best and the bad things. the trick is to learn one form of spelling and stick to it. Try not to mix them up.
